What’s your skincare ritual?

STEP 1
Wash your face twice a day with an effective face wash that thoroughly cleanses your skin without stripping it of its natural oils.

STEP 2
Moisturise your face with a light cream enriched with Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E that refreshes your skin leaving it smooth and healthy.

STEP 3
Use a sunscreen that is quick-absorbing and non-greasy with a highly effective UVA/UVB filter system that protects your skin against sun damage, pre-mature ageing and wrinkles!

SKIN DO’S AND DON’TS

DO'S 

Honey can be used to treat acne, reduce eye puffiness and as an exfoliating scrub. Enriched with anti-septic properties, it creates a breathable, skin-like barrier protecting your skin.

Saffron, sage and black-cumin are excellent seasonings for the skin! Not only do they boost the immune system, but they also contain anti-inflammatory substances that calm the skin.

Orange veggies such as carrots, pumpkin and squash are rich in phytonutrient alpha-carotene which not only lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease but also acts as an efficient anti-ageing agent.


DON'TS
 
If you’re doing everything right for your skin but still battling breakouts, you might have an allergy to gluten. Gluten is found in 80% of protein found in grains and functions as a sort of glue that holds dough together. Cut gluten out of your diet and pave the way for radiant, beautiful skin.

Blue light is a stimulant that will keep you awake and spoil a goodnight’s sleep! Cut back your tech addictions, whether it’s your TV, computer or phone, before you sleep and you’ll notice the remarkable effects on your
well-being.

Don’t ever squeeze your pores! You’ll end up with the same enlarged pores and an added red mark. Instead regularly cleanse and moisturise your face to reduce the appearance of large pores.


SKIN FOOD AND DRINKS

The secret to glowing, gorgeous skin is not in your vanity case, but actually in your diet!

Eating guava, papaya, pineapple, kiwi and other Vitamin C rich tropical fruits will help protect your skin from damaging free radicals, replenish your skin, and help your body produce collagen, leaving your skin firm and elastic.

Black tea, made from the same leaves as green tea contains ten times more anti-oxidants than those found in fruits and vegetables. However, researchers have found that by adding milk to black tea, it reduces the levels of anti-oxidants. Therefore, for maximum benefits of black tea, drink it straight up, without adding any milk or sugar.

Black tea also works wonders when applied directly to the skin’s surface. In addition to being strong in anti-oxidants, black tea is also rich in Vitamin E and C, which is beneficial in fighting free radicals and can prevent premature ageing. Black tea is also a great astringent which is hugely valuable in battling puffy eyes, spots and blemishes.

EXERCISE AND LIFESTYLE
